 Fair Lawn’s 2009 show is entitled "Passages" and encompasses lively compositions based on celebrating and getting the most of out life’s experiences. The three sections are “Impact” with its bold, rhythmic and harmonic punctuations that represent the experiences that affect our lives; “Forever Holding Close the Memories”, which focuses on woodwind and brass as we savor every moment in making memories; and “Rhythm Danse” with its glorious full ensemble climatic section that reflects positive life-changing experiences.  Passages is also about the commitment, discipline, dedication, strong work ethic and teamwork through music that our students will exhibit and experience this year. |
